1. Privacy by Design: 100% Local Processing

WacPad is built from the ground up to respect creative privacy. Your drawing strokes, stylus coordinates, pressure levels, tilt angles, barrel rotation, and touch gestures are transferred strictly between your iPad and your desktop computer over a direct physical USB cable or your local Wi-Fi network.

We do not collect, transmit, store, or analyze your drawings, screen content, or pencil input. There are no background telemetry trackers, keystroke loggers, or analytics SDKs embedded in the WacPad desktop server or iOS companion client.

2. Payment Information

When you purchase WacPad Pro Lifetime, all payment transactions are processed directly by our merchant processor, Stripe, Inc. We never collect, see, or store your credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account details. Stripe processes your billing details, tax identifiers, and country of residence to complete the transaction and generate compliant tax invoices in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

3. Cryptographic License & Device Activation

WacPad Pro licenses use offline HMAC-SHA256 cryptographic signatures. When you activate your license on a desktop computer:

• The desktop app generates an anonymous, irreversible SHA-256 hash of your computer's motherboard/system identifier combined with a static salt.
• No hardware serial numbers, MAC addresses, IP addresses, or personal identity details are transmitted or stored.
• This anonymous hash is stored in our secure database solely to enforce the 3-device seat limit and allow you to view or revoke your active machines at wacpad.com/lookup.html.

Once activated, the license token is stored locally on your machine and validated 100% offline. Continuous internet connectivity is never required to draw.

4. License Recovery & Email Communications

If you purchase a license or request key recovery, we use your email address solely to send your purchase confirmation and cryptographic license key. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address with third-party marketing brokers. You will not receive marketing spam or promotional newsletters.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Our website does not use tracking cookies, behavioral profiling cookies, or third-party advertising trackers. We respect Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.
